Fitness Areas

 ratesAll fees on this page may be paid on-line on the Parks & Recreation Department's RecPro website:  www.cofbparksandrec.us.  First-time users must create accounts.  Payments may also be made at the facilities (cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover).  NOTE:  All credit card and debit card transactions will be charged a service fee of 2.5%, with a minimum charge of $2.00.

Weight Room/Cardio Area has free weights, dumbbells (3lbs - 100lbs), kettlebells (5 - 30lbs), pin-select equipment (Nautilus; In-Shape; King Fitness; Body Masters), Matrix treadmills, Precor elliptical, Cybex Arc Trainer, Matrix recumbent and upright bikes, and Kettler rower.  Ages 13 and up (ages 13-15 with adult supervision; ages 16-17 unsupervised but with waiver signed by parent or guardian).  Days and hours are:  Monday - Friday from 11:00am-7:00pm*
 
*Extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays (9:00pm) during Open Adult Volleyball; extended hours on Fridays (8:00pm) during Open Adult Indoor Soccer (November - March only for Indoor Soccer).

Peck Gym Fitness Fees** 
Daily use:  $5 City residents, $10 Non-City
1 month pass:  $30 City residents, $38 Non-City
4 months pass:  $90 City residents, $113 Non-City

**Active and retired U.S. military receive City resident rates with valid military identification.

Indoor Walking at Coach Nelson P. Williams, Jr./Peck Gym

Indoor walking around the basketball court is available during hours with no scheduled team court activities:  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00am-7:00pm*; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00am-2:00pm (extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the months May - October).  Please provide photo ID upon entry into Peck Gym.  Free.

*NOTE:  Indoor walking hours may vary on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays due to other programs (November - March); sports league play (May - July); school or club teams' practices (August - May); and rentals.

Atlantic Fitness Room at the Atlantic Recreation Center
Precor treadmills, ellipticals, upright, and recumbent bikes; Nautilus StairMaster Stepmill; Concept 2 rower; Hammer Strength plate loaded strength equipment; Magnum Fitness Biangular Series and Cybex machines; squat rack; Smith machine; deadlift platform and bumper plates; Troy weighted curl bars (20lbs - 110lbs), free weights, dumbbells (3lbs - 100lbs), and kettlebells (5lbs - 50lbs).  Ages 13 and up (ages 13-15 with adult supervision; ages 16-17 unsupervised but with waiver signed by parent or guardian).  Days and hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm*

*.Atlantic Fitness Room will be open limited hours - 7:00am-12:00pm - on observed City holidays for pass holders (10 days, 1 month, and 4 months) and their guests only (no single day visitors permitted).  See days below for 2022:

Bootcamp Classes at Main Beach

Join instructor Charity Ross for her 28-day Bootcamp right on Main Beach (some classes held at Egans Creek Park also).  This camp will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic capacities and core strength with sprint drills, plyometric exercises, and conditioning circuits.  Early morning and early evening classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays and morning classes on Saturdays.  

$150 per participant (includes nutritional coaching and meal plans)

Egans Creek Park - Fitness Trail and Outdoor Fitness Equipment
Egans Creek Park, located at the corner of Wolff Street and Atlantic Avenue (2201 Atlantic Avenue), has a 1/4 mile fitness trail and four separate shaded fitness stations on the trail equipped with Greenfields Outdoor Fitness Equipment.  Below is a list of the fitness equipment items, several of which are wheelchair accessible:
